I hope it doesn't rain (part 3)

No quod sanctus instructior ius, et intellegam interesset duo. Vix cu nibh gubergren dissentias. His velit veniam habemus ne. No doctus neglegentur vituperatoribus est, qui ad ipsum oratio. Ei duo dicant facilisi, qui at harum democritum consetetur.

I'm participating in the Covenant House Sleep Out: Moms Edition on May 4th to raise funds to support youth. This is the third of four blog posts that takes us to that night...

My life thus far has been pretty great. I haven't ever spent an unwanted night outdoors, gone without a meal, been discriminated against, had a serious medical issue, or not had enough clothes to wear. Part of my decision to do Sleep Out was to feel more gratitude in my life - not to just talk about it, but to actually feel it. I think the best way to do that is to experience it. Sleeping outside scares the bejeesus out of me, because I am a complete baby in cold weather!

As the days inch closer to when I will be sleeping outside, I think about how I will cope. I feel nervous, and humbled, and proud to support a cause that matters to me and Vancouver youth. I don't do well in the cold, but I know there are toques and socks for that...I really hope it doesn't rain.

I would be so grateful if you can support my goal to raise funds for Covenant House's Sleep Out: Mother's Edition, and help change the lives of the youth in our community. Visit My Sleep Out Page to make a donation and sign up below to keep updated on my next post and follow my journey!
